Foursquare revamps Explore Tab
Foursquare revamps Explore Tab
A new update to Foursquare Android app has brought some cool new changes to the Explore tab. Heading into the explore tab will show you interesting places around your location as always. But now, whenever you tap on any place, you will be presented with big swipeable pictures taken by people at that place on top. You can swipe through these pictures and get a feel of what the place might be like. You will also find the rating of the place.
Just one more tap will give you more relevant information about that place like the address, timings, working days, contact number, menu etc. Once you have checked in at a place, Foursquare will display other people who have checked in there, popular tips from these people and those who have visited earlier and simple ways for you to leave a tip and rate the place as well.
While not many major changes were introduced, this update does bring quite a few helpful methods to make your check ins fun and useful.
