Pinterest testing out new look with beta testers
Pinterest is working on a new design for their site which they have based on user feedback. This redesign will feature aesthetic as well as behind the scene updates to make the site faster.
The new design is focused on making navigation more intuitive, the categories section have been moved to the left so that you can browse through various sections without obstructing your current view. Pins themselves have been given a boost in size making them larger and they will also be provided with additional information. Pins from the same board, other boards that this pin features on and pins related to the current one will be displayed as well. This will entice users to explore other boards and stay on the site for longer. All these in addition to under the hood improvements to make the site faster.
These changes are being tested out with only a small group of users as of now. If you would like to be among those, you can sign up on their page here.
