Experience art at its personified best at the Paramparik Karigar Textile Exhibition and the Arts & Crafts Exhibition.

The craftsmen of Paramparik Karigar invite you to three exhibitions of Indian Textiles, Arts & Crafts and Special Paintings & Ceramics of Master Craftsmen.

1) Textile Exhibition

Dates: 13th to 16th October 2010

Timings: 10.30am to 6.30pm

2) Art & Craft Exhibition

Dates:19th to 21st October 2010

Timings: 10.30am to 6.30pm

3) Special Exhibition of Paintings & Ceramics of Master Craftsmen

Dates: 23rd & 24th October, 2010

Timings: 10.30am to 6.30pm

What’s more, you can also have a chance to bring to life the artist hidden in you. Learn how to create your own masterpiece at the Paramparik Karigar workshop.

Workshop details

Date: 13 to27 October 2010

Timings:10am to 4.30pm

Workshops: Soof embroidery, Phulkari embroidery, Kantha embroidery, Lehariya (Tie &Dye), Papier Mache, Leather puppets, Phad painting, Pichwai painting, Miniature Painting & natural colour making, , Pattachitra Painting, Palm leaf etching and Gondh painting.

Venue: Museum Campus

Registration fees-One day intensive workshop- Rs 500/-

Two days intensive workshops –Rs 1000/-

Note-

• Above mentioned fee is applicable on per individual basis (Limited seats available)
• Registrations will be done at the Museum Publication Counter/office from 6th September 2010 onwards

Timings: from 10.30am- 4.30pm (except Public Holidays)

Working Lunch will be provided
