According to Kevin Rose “Tiny” would not just be another blogging platform, but would create a window to connect with readers at another level altogether.
His idea is for the readers to get a glimpse at the content author’s environment through the use of the computer’s webcam.
As shown in the video, the background would be pixelated and he quotes “The theme I really like here is exposing the environment of the blogger. I don’t think this would make sense for large corporate blogs, but it could be a fun modern take/throwback to the days of personal publishing sites like LiveJournal etc.”
Additional credits for Tiny are given to Google and YouTube designer Marc Hemeon and Synack founder Bjoern Zinssmeister.
