Now browse Instagram feed on the web
Instagram has finally launched the ability to view full feeds on the web i.e from your desktop. So far, users could login and view their own web profiles or by navigating to the specific url which contained the username of others. But now, you can view the feed like you can in the Instagram app on your mobile.
Users can now view, like and add comments to pictures of users you follow. Photos can be double clicked to like them or you can use the “heart” button too. Basically you can do everything that you do on the mobile app except upload photos. According to the blog post, this is because at its core Instagram is “about seeing and taking photos on-the-go.” You can shrink your browser down to a single column to replicate the view in your mobile app.
This change will be useful for people who have small displays and would like to view images in the full glory of their desktops or retina displays of their tablets. This will also make linking to any specific photo and sharing it with others more easier.
Are you a Instagram user? Will you access the site from the desktop or your mobile app in the future? Let us know in the comments below.
