Hi msmandy12 ,

First thing you need to do is to take the GMAT test. You can register at http://www.gmac.org. You require around 3-5 months preparation for the exam. Next thing would be selecting the target schools. Most people target 5-7 schools depending on their post-MBA career goal, Gmat score, location and cost.

In the meantime get yourself registered in forums like http://blog.Clearadmit.com to remain updated with latest developments/ announcements by various Bschools. Read the book "How to get into the best Businesss schools" by Richard Mountauk. This gives a systematic step by step coverage of the entire Bschool application process.

hope this helps....

Any GMAT score above 700 is considered to be a good score. Universities abroad, apart from Gmat score, give a lot of importance to work-ex (both quality and quantity), GPA, International exposure and extra-curricular activities. Another factor which is given a lot of importance is diversity i.e. how unique u r :-b .

hope this helps....

Regards
