Hi krazysang ,

Don't ever purchanse a Lenovo. I brought it an year back and been regretting ever since. Probally I should have enquired in forums like this one.

The configuration would depend on your needs and budget but Dell or acer would be a good choice. Dell is especially known for its excellent after sales service....

hi krazysang,

you can get a Dell inspiron or Acer with a 3gb ram, go for a higher cache memory too..... if you are not planning for any very high end graphics a cool amd card could do the trick..... hope it helps.... a AMD processor too has a stronger memory controller as a separate chip so performs functions faster compared to a core 2 duo etc.... a dedicated controller, I must say

:)
