hi krazysang, you can get a Dell inspiron or Acer with a 3gb ram, go for a higher cache memory too..... if you are not planning for any very high end graphics a cool amd card could do the trick..... hope it helps.... a AMD processor too has a stronger memory controller as a separate chip so performs...
